This college arose with the establishment of the university, to witness its birth and construction, witness its achievements, share its development and success, and participate in drawing its plan and vision, and formulating its mission and goals, since its inception in two separate colleges, one of which is the College of Arts, and the other the College of Science in 1991 AD, until their coalition in the College One formed its weft and seal in 2003 under one name, which is still a flag on it, and a landmark for it to this day (College of Arts and Sciences).

This huge history and great title was not a cause for complacency and stagnation, but was a catalyst for modernization and development, and the adoption of the causes of technology, in order to sustain success and ensure excellence. This college, which exceeded three decades, was able to combine originality and modernity, to see the effects of this in its attractive educational environment. Its distinguished faculty, its halls equipped with modern technologies, its laboratories equipped with the latest equipment, its development of new specializations commensurate with the labor market, the provision of master’s programs in the Arabic language, the English language and chemistry, in addition to the fact that some of its specializations witness obtaining global and international accreditations, and the conclusion of agreements with international universities. and Arabic.

Despite the satisfaction with what the college has achieved, we aspire to achieve more and better, in line with the university's mission of serving society, spreading the message of science and education, and achieving its vision of making the University of Petra the best choice for scholars and learners.
